Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Love Love This product is just what I was looking for it looks very natural when applied for everyday use feels light on the skin and has SPF protection against the sun. Definantly my favourite bare minerals product and is an essential to my skincare range. 25/07/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow, glowing skin Tried this product as a tinted moisturiser never been a fan of others. Use this almost everyday as my skin is blotchy most days. Small pea sized amount gives amazing coverage. Even used as a foundation when no time to do makeup amazing product. I usually finish it off with mineral veil. 25/07/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gives a lovely glow I only just bought this product a few weeks ago but really like the way it gives skin a really hydrated look. The only negatives I have found are that it can be a bit gloupy at times (though Im not sure if I just got one from a bad batch or could even be due to the hot weather we have had lately) and also i have some skin pigmentation and sadly it doesnt cover it as well as I would have hoped. 24/07/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best on the market! I prefer tinted moisturisers to foundations. I have tried loads from expensive brands to own brands. I can say that the Bare Minerals Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream is the best I have found. It goes on well and is light enough. It is also a lovely colour. Not too pale but most definitely not orange. It blends well into my skin. Top marks to Bare Minerals. It's not badly priced either although would be more expensive than shop own brands. 24/07/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this tinted gel cream This tinted gel cream is my new everyday face product as it has a buildable coverage and is quick and easy to apply(not much blending required) I also have acne and once I started using this the amount of spots became less and I felt like my skin overall was more hydrated and had a healthy glow. Love this!! 24/07/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Complexion rescue Absolutely love this product! It's the best foundation type product I've had so far. I use it everyday and it blends in with my skin well (I don't feel like a pizza crust face for once!). Will definitely be buying again! 22/07/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love! Amazing all year round! I can wear this through the heat and humidity, and the icy wind and rain. This always looks amazing on my skin. Lightweight, undetectable and long lasting. This is one of my favourite face products ever! 20/07/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Balanced, clear with a healthy glow All of my life I have had people ask me if I am ill as I am so pale so I embraced the pale and interesting look. As I approach my late 20s I have started to wear make up most days but (as I have never really bothered previously) I find this product an absolute must - it is lightweight and provides excellent coverage leaving my skin looking balanced, clear with a healthy glow. When I first tried this product I paired it with powder but I am finding that this is not necessary as this product does exactly what I need it to. My other favourite thing about this product is the range of shades as being pale I can sometimes struggle finding suitable match. Taking into consideration the tiniest amount can provide me with full coverage for the whole day I think it is very reasonably priced as it lasts for a long time. I have recommended this product to friends and family alike. 20/07/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect summer coverage I bought this as a lighter alternative to my usual foundation which felt too greasy for summer. The light coverage is great and gives a nice glow too. Very subtle and would definitely recommend 19/07/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love this product I bought this so that on Sunday's or when I had a day off and didn't want to wear full make up this could be a substitute - perfect. Although one downside is it wears off a bit quick. 19/07/2016

Hi all
I have been using Complexion Rescue as my main foundation for several weeks now over the top of Prime Time. I love the natural appearance.
My question is this. Is this product meant to be a primer?
I read that people are using it under BareSkin and Original. I'm so used to primer that I'm not convinced CR could replace one but am I wrong???
I have all types of bareMinerals foundations. Can Complexion Rescue replace primer and save me having so many bottles on my dressing table?!
Thanks!

My skin feels very tight when I use this gel so I was wondering if I should be using a moisturiser first - I do use the mineralixir serum. Also, I do like the BB Primer and wondered if I should be using this underneath the Complexion Rescue.

Answer:
I usually moisturise, then apply PrimeTime original primer, and then the Complexion Rescue. I've tried it a couple of times without the primer but find it lasts longer and covers better with a base.

Answer:
This really does do both, it gives you even coverage with a hydrating feel. It is not as heavy as a foundation but gives that coverage that makes you glow without weighing you down.

Answer:
I tried wearing mine over my moisturising sunscreen (which was spf40) and found that it didn't blend very well or give very good coverage. They were both too greasy to be compatible and just sort of slid about over each other! So I tried it on it's own, with some of the all over warmth bronzer on top, and it was great! I guess it depends on how hot it is where you live as to whether the spf30 in it is enough for you. Hope this helps.

Answer:
I'm also medium beige in the original foundation. I wear 05 Natural in the Complexion Rescue. I popped into my local BareMinerals stockists, and asked if I could have a sample of a few shades to try. I wear Vanilla during the Winter months. Hope that helps :)

Answer:
Hi! I've been using it under my foundation and it's amazing. It isn't greasy like a lot of primers, plus it keeps you moisturized all day.
The shop assistant told me that she uses it as a primer too, and she has acne scarring and excema on her face.

I tried the vanilla sample after deciding my skin tone was neutral however when I put it on it seemed rather dark and slightly orange. Should I go for cool skin tone instead or it this product not right for me?

Answer:
Try Opal is that is meant with fairly light and cool tones! Don't be worried as that's 01 as its not measured like that! I use Natural 05 and Suede 04. Natural 05 is actually lighter than 04 but it is all about the tone!

I had similar problems when trying to select the correct shade. The best thing to do is to pop into your nearest BareMinerals stockists, have a chat with them. I asked for some sample pots of a couple of shades so I could try a few out. I'm sure once you've tried them out, you'll get the right shade for you :)

I also have combination skin. I don't wear moisturiser under CR, I do however find that wearing primer as a base helps to balance my skin out, and provides the perfect base :)

Hi

Yes! This product could certainly be used in place of a moisturiser if you wanted, as it has excellent hydrating qualities.

I wear Ready foundation R250, I want this for daily use so I don't expect as much coverage or to spend as much time applying it. I use the BB cream in medium for work but I find there isn't much coverage at all so I'm hoping this will be what I am looking for. What shade would you recommend?
