Applying the Makeup is Easy

  • Swirl, Tap, Buff

  • 1. Swirl
    a small amount of Mineral Veil finishing powder by angling the Flawless Application Brush and swirl into the lid until all the Mineral Veil has been tucked into the bristles.

    2. Tap
    away excess. There should be no visible Mineral Veil finishing powder on the outside of the brush.

    3. Buff
    the Mineral Veil finishing powder into the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbone, swirling as you go. Buff around your face and then approach your forehead, cheeks, and nose.

Fabulous product! Perhaps redesign the container. This product is great! I have combination skin and it is difficult to find a moisturizer that fully hydrates the dry areas without causing more blemishes. I get blemishes towards my hairline and on the top of my nose and dry flaky patches at the base of my nose, (usually only in the winter, but my skin is dry otherwise.) I started using this product in the middle of the winter along with my normal facial lotion for extra moisture, because I live in Michigan in an area with low humidity. The dry, flaky patches that were around my nose disappeared in less than three weeks! AND it didn't cause me to develop blemishes. Now that summer temperatures are on their way in, I've added toner to my daily facial cleansing routine. Before I started using this product, I used toner every other day during the summers, so my routine hasn't been forced to change much. The powder has yellow/neutral undertones as opposed to the original mineral veil's pink/warm undertones. This allows me to choose what type of finish I want to have on my skin, which has slightly olive undertones, (I use medium beige foundation.) The powder also has more shimmer to it than the original, but that is not noticeable when it is applied. It is a great way to add a little variety to your usual makeup routine! The only real issue I have with this product is the container. The powder is so fine, (possibly finer than the original mineral veil, but I'm not sure), and the hole for dispensing it is so large, I feel like I waste a lot every time I use it! In four months, I used approximately 1.5 grams of the original mineral veil and in the same time, I used approximately 3 grams of the hydrating mineral veil. Some attention to the container design might be worth looking into in order to make the customer feel like they're getting a better value! But overall, it is a wonderful product!!! 09/05/2013

Perfect lighting The mineral veil to me is the secret star of the BM product line. I switch between the original foundation & Ready, but I can never give up on my Illuminating MV. It creates the perfect finish to any look, and the glow it gives is subtle enough that it does not make you look like Edward Cullen. Cannot recommend it enough. I go through it so quickly because I like it both under & over the foundation to control shine & sweat. Also, I think it makes everything stay better throughout the whole day. 18/04/2013

Another go to product of BM. I love this product. I have only ever tried the original formula and tinted. But I am really interested in the hydrating and illuminating ones as well just for a little change. I did not care much for the tinted because it has a reddish tint, and that doesn't look good on my face, so I use the faux tan over tinted mineral veil and warmth because it's more brown than red. Anyways, the original mineral veil is great because it goes on so lightly and immediately absorbs oil. If I use this when I first apply my makeup, it's rare I have to use my Ready Mineral Veil to touch up. Highly recommended, and the price is right for this finishing powder. It lasts a very long time for me. 23/03/2013

An Incredible Product I Have Been Using For Years" I have been using Mineral Veil for years and years. I love this product because it hides my larger pores. No shades to worry about matching to my skin tone. Mineral Veil gives my complexion that polished appearance. It is the only cosmetic, other than lipstick or mascara, that I panic over should I run out. 20/03/2013
So soft! I had been using mineral veil for years and loved it, but when I saw the hydrating version I decided to try it even though I had to purchase a special brush for it. Well worth it! It really makes my dry skin look smoother, I love it! 12/03/2013
