bareMinerals Glimmer Eyecolors give your eyes a high intensity shimmer. They can be worn softer and more translucent when dry, but they can also create a gorgeous opaque wash of high sheen (known as foiling) when wet.

For sheen-look, vibrant eyecolors that can be worn wet or dry, see our Glimpse Eyecolors, or for a simple, velvety matte finish, see our Matte Eyecolors.

We love to use our Glimmer Eyecolors with our Soft Focus Shadow Brush or our Eye Defining Brush.

Texture Guide

Matte: Our most opaque eyeshadow. Incredibly creamy colour with a rich, velvety finish.

Sheen: Satiny soft and sheer with a touch of glow. Wear it dry for whisper effects, or wet for a more opaque sheen.

Glimmer: High intensity shimmer. Can be softer and more translucent when worn dry, but creates an opaque wash of high sheen-known as foiling-when worn wet.

Celestine - The Smokey Best! I absolutely love the Celestine eye colour from Bare Minerals! I am on my third pot and this is no exaggeration when I say that a pot lasts me nearly two years! A little really does go a long way! The rich pigmented colour goes on so lovely and when you use it with your primer and your best black eye colour, it complements a smokey eye so well! Use the prime time eye primer or brightening eye primer as your base, colour your entire lid with Celestine and work your magic with your black shadow! Tip: use Celestine on your brow bone to get that smokey eye highlight! Works every time! 04/11/2014
<3 I love 'Heart'! I only tried this eyeshadow for the first time a few days ago but I know already that it's going to become a staple of my make-up bag. It's a lovely subtle blush-coloured shimmer which looks great on its own, or for a day-to-night look with 'City Lights'. Like all Bare Minerals eyeshadows, this shadow is really pigmented and goes on really smoothly and easily. I love it! 15/04/2014
Twinkle in the eye For day to day, I use more neutral browns and creams but love the bolder colours for going out. It has a perfect hint of sparkle which I love. 18/12/2013
Fab! Such pretty colours, easy to apply and blend and really long wearing. 18/12/2013
Messy but Amazing! I first got a shimmer eyecolour as part of a beauty surprise package and was very wary about using it as I'm a messy person at the best of times and this has the potential to go EVERYWHERE. The colour though, is incredible. I'd recommend wetting your eyeshadow brush before applying as this limits the mess slightly and enhances the colour even more. It's great to use for a night out. I would, however, leave your foundation and/or under-eye concealer until after applying this eyeshadow! The only thing missing, in my opinion, is the 'filter' that the foundations have as it would be easier to only pick up a small amount of product that way. 18/12/2013
Party picture perfect I tend to wear neutral colours at work but when I'm going out in the evening I use a little shimmer eye colour which adds a nice sparkle to my look. A little goes a long way which makes it worth the price. 15/10/2013
Gorgeous! Both Nude Beach and Celestine are absolutely beautiful!! I went to my local boutique to have my make up done for my graduation ball and fell in love with these shimmery eyeshadows! Nude Beach is probably my favourite eyeshadow of all time. Makes the perfect everyday eyeshadow base with a subtle sparkle. 11/10/2013
Love it! I've recently discovered bare minerals, and all my old brands have gone straight in the bin! I love this eyeshadow - Drama shimmer eyeshadow. It's a warm grey colour which suits my warm/autumn colouring. It can be subtle or more intense, depending on what you want. And I can use it as a liner.. I wish I could have all the colours! 15/09/2013
Truly Scrumptious I have dark blue eyes and find it tricky to find eyeshadows that suit my eye colour. I am presently using 'Nude Beach' the colour advertised online does not flatter the true beauty of this eyeshadow. This eye shadow can be a subtle gold in one light and a warm silver in the next it is truly gorgeous and extremely universal for any eye colour I have also seen against brown eyes and it looks stunning. It can also be used as a highlighter which is another bonus! I will definitely be stocking up on this and other colours! 12/06/2013
Envy Envy, I'll be honest, looks a bit bright in the pot and I almost shied away from it, but it is a lovely shade of green. No garish "clown eyes" here! It blends really beautifully and it gives a pretty sheen. I've had mine a good length of time now, yet the little pot still looks almost full! I usually apply my shadows dry but I think this would look outstanding "foiled" (applied with a wet brush) for an evening out. 24/02/2013
