Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 426 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Effortless Beauty I used to suffer from mild acne and was using the 'BE Original Foundation' and although it was a blessing that I managed to stumble upon it, it was very time consuming trying to cover all my imperfections. When I heard BE had come out with a new compact foundation I immediately had a look online, though there were not as many positive reviews as I thought. My biggest concern was: is this foundation going to be as light and breathable as the Original Foundation? Well I went to a local store and tried it on and WOW! 2 effortless minutes to flawless skin! And just for the record it was just as light and breathable as the Original Foundation AND takes less then half the time to apply! A truly AMAZING product! 12/06/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Discontinued? I love this foundation for my everyday wear. I can't find it anywhere...its "out of stock" at BE, Sephora, Ulta. I am going to be very disappointed if this was discontinued for the new barePRO foundation, which DOES NOT have an spf. Shouldn't everything have an spf these days?! I have been using this since it came out, but this may force me to change brands if it is no longer available. 17/08/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by MY FAVORITE BM GOUNDATION!!! <3 This is the best foundation I've ever had! Goes on beautifully, lasts all day, doesn't look like I'm wearing foundation, great coverage. I wish they didn't have to discontinue!!! :,( I've tried the new barepro foundation but for me it doesn't beat the ready foundation at all, so disappointed!!! :,( Will this be available in the last chance section or something so I can stock up before its gone forever?????? :,( 10/08/2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing Product I was hoping to find a nice compact foundation and change up my makeup routine after being a BareMinerals fan for about two years now. This is not a good product for my skin type. I'm pretty sure it makes me break out, and none of the shades match my skin tone. The compact also cracked within a week of purchase. I love your products but this one was disappointing. 05/08/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT I've started using the new compact foundation and it does not compare to this. I have cystic acne which has left red scars on my face. This is the only foundation that covers it without looking cakey or gets darker as more is applied as I touch up during the day. 05/08/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it but can no longer find my shade. I've been using this for at least a year now and I love it. Unfortunately, I cannot find it in my shade anymore. 01/08/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding, if it was available... The best foundation I've ever used. It goes on flawless, with or without the bare minerals brush. Now seriously Bare Minerals, restock your foundation stores so I can give you my money already! 20/07/2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by disappointing I was looking for a full coverage foundation and thought that this might be perfect, how wrong I was. I have tried applying this with a sponge and a full flawless brush and also the recommended brush but so far I seem to always get the same result which is cakey full coverage. I purchased this in the lightest shade for my fair skin and that seems to be too fair so tried instore in the next shade which seems to be too dark. i apply this after letting my moisturiser and primer sink in but this still looks cakey. 20/07/2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great makeup but compact broke twice! I love the foundation compact. Great light but effective long lasting coverage. I have purchased it twice. But both times, as time went on and about 60% of the makeup was gone, the remaining powder in the compact cracked and I had a lot of little pieces left. You basically have to throw it out after that because every time you open it you get the dust and powder everywhere. The item is well priced for great quality but this is the 2nd time this happened to me so I basically paid for about half of what I was able to use - so then it becomes very expensive when you think about what you pay for vs. what you can use! I know I could buy a powder jar and sifter so I could dump the remaining pieces into it and keep using the makeup - but really, this shouldn't be happening to begin with. 27/06/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this product but it's been out of stock in my shade forever Have been using this product for several months now and can't say enough good about it. However, I've been trying to order more for several weeks now and it's always out of stock. Hope this doesn't mean they aren't making ti anymore! 27/06/2016

Answer:
I found I had this problem on my forehead. I think for me it was because I was using a full brush of foundation straight on to my forehead. I found it better if I loaded the brush and started first of all on my cheeks and then go to other areas like forehead, chin and nose once you've already worked some of the product off of the brush.

Answer:
I'm 47 & can assure you that it doesn't settle in any fine lines. I do have a tip to minimise any 'pore settling' which can happen around the nose area; leave that area until last & only use the brush when you've buffed everywhere else on your face & it's 'empty'. That way you won't over-apply. Also use a primer but don't apply any foundation until it's completely absorbed. Hope that helps!

Hi Kentlady, yes I have the same skin-type and it works well for me. It gives smooth even coverage and keeps the skin looking shine -free. It minimises the look of the pores and does not crack.

Answer:
Our bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation is great for all skin types and sounds like it would be great for your skin. The foundation is really hydrating for those dry areas, but because it is made with minerals it will help balance out any oily areas and won't block your pores.
If you are having trouble with how your foundation is sitting you may want to try it with our Prime Time Foundation Primer, which will prep your skin perfectly for a flawless foundation application.

I'm sure they still do this colour. If you have the tub maybe take it down to BM and see what they say? If it has been discontinued they I'm sure they will be able to match a similar colour to you. Hope that helps.

The shade names for our bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation have changed since our initial launch. If you bought the shade Medium Beige, this would now be shade R250.

Answer:
It is very difficult to tell what shade you will be in bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation without a shade match as the shades are so different from our loose foundation formulas. Our comparison guide (http://bit.ly/bMcomparison) indicated you could be either R450, R470 or R530. We do suggest that you pop into your local bareMinerals counter to get properly shade matched to ensure you get the right shade.
