Q & A

bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation SPF20 - null 4.3 5 69 69
Messy I've been complimented many times on how good my skin looks whilst wearing this product- I love it! However, now on my second bottle and I feel I've lost as much product down the side of the bottle as I've put on my face. I thought my first bottle was faulty and was disappointed that the second one is the same. It's too expensive to waste this amount so I won't be buying it again. 26/12/2015
Amazing product but... I love this foundation! The bottle lasts for ages because you only use a tiny amount of foundation. It gives great coverage and really brightens your complexion, although, you really do have to blend it in for a while. However, the bottle really does leak quite a lot and each morning I go to use it, foundation has seeped inside of the lid and starts to leak outside. This happens no matter how tight the lid is closed, you'd think there would be a decent seal between the bottle and the lid!! As a result of this, I feel I've lost quite a lot of foundation. 11/12/2015
Magic in a bottle OK so I'm new to bare minerals... I'm a red head with pale skin but freckles not a few freckles a fair amount so have always struggled to find a foundation to suit me! (Very annoying when you hit 28 and still haven't found it) I have tried them all dior, ysl, urban decay and none of them come close to bare minerals.... I love this. Literally feels like your wearing nothing.... doesn't feel caked on at all. I used this foundation and then provided some more coverage with the bare minerals pressed and my face looks flawless but natural at the same time :) So if your a redhead and freckled like me then give it a go :) 09/12/2015
Do not take a chance!!! I have championed Bare Minerals for years, suggesting it to all my friends and family. However I recently took a chance and brought their Brightening serum, it is the worst foundation I have ever used. It will not blend into the skin, no matter how long you spend buffering it in (even using the brush they suggest). The coverage is basically nonexistent - to use the amount you would need to cover a spot, the serum would practically be dripping off your face. I will not lie, I have combination skin that is prone to monthly break outs. So maybe if you have baby skin, this foundation will be perfect for you. But for the majority of people, I would label it as a waste of money. I am so disappointed in this foundation 04/11/2015
TOTALLY CONVERTED After reading rave reviews I purchased this foundation. I have to say I struggled with it at first. I was used to a much denser cover and thought this was too thin. However having paid the price I was determined to persevere and have reaped the rewards. This foundation is fantastic, light and silky, goes on beautifully, and I can build up if I feel I want more cover in the evenings. I am a loyal buyer and took a risk changing my foundation. Am so glad I did! I have never had as many compliments about my complexion or "healthy looking" skin since I wore this foundation. A permanent repeat customer here. I had no problem with the bottle or dispensing method, prefer to other types which can clog long before the bottle is empty. It has lasted ages so is excellent value for money. Please don't change Bare Minerals! 31/10/2015
Hated this product I bought this foundation and the woman tried it on me in the store, it looked nice and felt light on my face. so i bought it. However, when i went to use it the next day from home, i found that once i had shaken it, it smelt like olive oil and came out on my hand a little bit red. when i applied it to my face, it didnt give me a nice coverage or finish and made my face very patchy and looked like i had been rubbing it off all day; which i hadn't. i would not recommend this product at all. 07/09/2015
Lovely light foundation with good coverage Best foundation I have used, light and covers well. 15/08/2015
If it were lighter it would be perfect I recently bought this foundation in the shade Bare Porcelain. The finish is lovely and it feels nice on the skin, and smells good too. The only problem is that I have extremely fair skin, and this is too dark for me. I can use it under my eyes, as it's pinky tone helps with blueish under eye circles, but it takes a lot of blending. I don't think I could use it as a full coverage foundation as it would obviously be a different colour to the rest of me! However, as coverage, feel and look go it would be lovely to use. I don't think I'd repurchase though, purely for the reason it's not the right colour. If lighter shades were available then I would certainly buy again. 04/08/2015
Gorgeous foundation but appalling packaging! When I first received this product I was really pleased. The foundation glides on beautifully and you only need a couple of drops to get a natural looking, medium coverage. The foundation isn't cakey at all and is very buildable. However, I am sad to say that the packaging let's this product down massively. After a couple of uses, I noticed that when I came back to use my foundation again, the nozel had leaked on it's own all inside the lid and down the side of the nozel. This became a regular occurrence and the bottle would leak A LOT of foundation after every use, meaning I was regularly wiping away and wasting foundation. Eventually, the bottle became completely clogged up and now I cannot get just 1 or 2 drops from the bottle after shaking. Now, a huge, uncontrollable amount of foundation spouts out, wasting even more product and therefore money too. Such a shame because I love the foundation but the packaging makes it a complete waste of money! 20/07/2015
Awesome I love this! I am currently into my natural/organic products and I was worried about make-up and when I found bareMinerals I was so excited to try it. This foundation glides on really smoothly, you don't need loads of it, it feels really nice on the skin not cloggy and thick. overall, an amazing buy. 16/07/2015

Hi Sue
Personally I think fingertips are best, it goes on smoothly and you get less waste than if you used the brush, also I get better coverage, it's just like applying moisturiser you can get into all the "difficult" bits! Hope this helps...

You can buy bareMinerals in Sephora, or there is also a french website for these products. Just type in bareMinerals and when the website comes up, go the currency symbol to the top right and go to the 'France' site. Enjoy.
