Feels natural not caked on
I love it. It arrived this morning and I watched the DVD. Then went for it, sat there with a mirror on the table and read the instructions again just to be sure. It went on really easily. Looked natural, feels light, smooth and covered well without looking caked on.
I still look like me, but better and it covered my natural spotty uneven skin tone. Feel fabulous :)

Great Start !
I got this kit for Christmas and it is just fantastic . All the essentials are included and you even get a leaflet on applying it . It is perfect for everyday and going-out wear . It is quick,easy and,no-mess to apply .I would like to see a blusher in this set too ! I would recommend this kit to my friends without a doubt .

Rosacea be gone!
I suffer with Rosacea and on a recent visit to my local beauty salon, whilst I was bemoaning how bad my skin was and that I was struggling to find a foundation to match my skintone and look natural, one of the girls recommended that I give bareMinerals a go. I tried the get started kit in Light to fairly light and I have fallen in love. I've since bought plenty more products and my skin, I am ecstatic to say, is so much better and healthier looking in the month I have been using it.

The perfect place to start with Bare Minerals
I cannot recommend this highly enough. After years of constantly switching foundations because they either didn't give me enough coverage or left my skin looking chalky I brought this after reading about it in a magazine.
I've never used another foundation since. You think that buffing a powder on cannot possibly give you the coverage you want but it does! The mineral veil is amazing, nothing like any finishing powder I've ever tried before. The warmth looks very dark in the pot but you only need the smallest amount to really bring out the glow in your skin.
This really is everything you need to get started. Even if you buy the other bits slowly like I did, I would recommend trying this 100% I don't think you will be disappointed.

Best way to try BE!
I bought this kit some time back, when it included different things. I'm dark-skinned (African American), so I got this in golden dark and it came with the mineral veil, warmth, the Full Flawless Face Brush, the regular Flawless Face Brush, a sample of the primer and a concealer brush.
I haven't used the warmth - I'm already brown so I don't really need a bronzer. I suppose I could use it in the deep winter when I'm a little paler, but I haven't seen the need for it. I LOVE Bare Escentuals' original foundation - it gives you a really glowing, pretty look while still looking natural and not irritating your skin AT ALL. It also at least does not aggravate my acne, and may even help my complexion when I wear it.
I also love the Mineral Veil. I would've never worn a finishing powder if it didn't come in this set, but now it's like one of the most essential parts of my makeup routine. It gives you a nice soft-focus finish - almost an airbrush effect - and helps set the makeup.
I don't wear makeup that often (not everyday - maybe 3 days out of an average week) but when I do, I don't bring anything with me to touch up, so I prefer makeup that stays put. I like BE's primer, but I use a different brand now, and with primer + foundation + mineral veil this stuff stays put all day long. My forehead gets oily and even the forehead and nose stay put. Comes off easily with a quick wash or makeup removing cloths (although better to wash - the makeup removing cloths don't get it all; my primer is really good)!
This set is also great because it includes the two brushes. Full is for full coverage and the regular is for buildable coverage. I can't say that I see much difference between them, but I liked them all right. However, when I lost my regular one I replaced it with a different brand brush that I like better. But $60 for bronzer, foundation, loose powder, three brushes and brush shampoo is an incredible deal. You save $6 on the combination of the bronzer + foundation + mineral veil, and the brushes and the shampoo are essentially free.
Don't really use concealer much so I don't think I've used the concealer brush. And I can't comment on the brush shampoo since I bought this set before it included it.

Best purchase ever!!!
I have never been a makeup person and I find all the products out there to be very overwhelming until I converted to Bare Minerals...in my 30's it was kind of embarrassing to not know how to apply makeup properly despite having a professional career, and being a regular at all the top make up counters in the department stores.
I bought a Bare Minerals starter kit and watched the video and have never looked back! Now 40, I still tend to buy the "kits" and then branch out to integrate other products in but the kits are a great starting point! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bare Minerals counters where I can also go for advice and tips. Recently I had a job interview and I made sure I stopped into my local counter for them to "give my make a once over" and they helped me with my eyebrow shaping- I bought the eyebrow brush and I'm a pro at it now!!!
I am a Bare Minerals user for life for sure! - p.s. I got the job!!!

AMAZING!
Im only 14 so my mum's concerned about putting bad makeup and stuff like that on my face, so she decided to try bare minerals - its light, flawless and helps the skin! Its amazing! £50 for that is an amazing deal, I use it everday at school and my skin is even, flawless and super soft and the teachers dont even notice! The prime time makes my make up hold when im at school all day, even when I do PE which is a pain, the warmth gives me a natural glow and helps contoring and colouring my cheek bones and T-zone after I added the foundation and the mineral viel is a life saver - it holds all the previous minerals and gives you a flawless and ''air brushed'' affect. Thank you BM for making me love my skin even more :) x

Don't blame me if you become addicted!
If you're a Bare Minerals virgin as I was, this kit is the ideal place to start, as it includes all the essential brushes, the main products and an instruction DVD. If you purchase in store, you're given a lot of help and demonstrations on how to apply too.
The Mineral Veil and foundations are what Bare Minerals are most famous for and both come with this kit. They don't disappoint! They've won awards for a reason, I feel. I have tried several foundations in my time from a range of brands and price ranges and Bare Minerals is up there with the best. It has no "nasties" in it and it doesn't have that liquid mask-like finish that feels thick and tight as you apply it. This lets your beauty shine though with a nice dewy finish and it allows your skin breathe, which is important. It's better to be complimented on your skin rather than your foundation, right?
A little really does go a long way and it lasts all day. Give it a try, just don't blame me when you become addicted!

I will never go back!
This kit was recommended to me by a bare minerals fan and I was given it as a Christmas gift as a result - the best pressie ever! The kit gives you the chance to get all the basics together and learn how to use them properly by using the dvd tutorials. I can honestly say that I cannot imagine going back to any other products; everyone has noticed and commented on my skin and tell me daily that my skin has never looked better and that I look younger! The products are easy to use, last for ages (less is more) and give stunning results. I am slowly but surely converting all my make up over to BM, including concealers, lip gloss etc. I think the whole product range is excellent and once you try it, you will never go back!

Got started with the get started complexion kit!
I chose the get started complexion kit because I had been wanting to try bare minerals for ages however I could not afford to pay for the full size individuals just in case the make-up did not suit my skin. When I received my kit I was not disappointed. Firstly the kit is very good value for money the brushes are of a high quality nice and soft not at all scratchy on the skin, then there is the primer OMG silk in a tube or what! Makes your skin soft, silky and smooth ready for your foundation. The mineral powder foundation glides on effortlessly and looks so flawless, natural and feels light and lets the skin breathe. The bronzer is great you can use a little for a subtle look or more for a more bronzed look also great as a shader I use a little on the sides of the nose for a slimming effect. And to finish off the mineral veil is absolutely gorgeous I never ever use a powder after foundation as I find it feels very thick and congested on my skin but not this, it is light and airy feeling. I have to say I was very impressed by the whole kit.
