Q & A
bareVitamins Skin Rev-er Upper 4.7 5 3 3
This primer is lightweight, so it doesn't feel heavy nor thick on your skin. The texture of it is silky smooth & glides on evenly on my skin. I've oily, acne proned skin & this doesn't make me breakout. Don't know how it would be for other skin types like dry skin though. I only need to use one pump of this product for my entire face & it does keep my makeup on looking fresh all day long. I've been using it for a few years now. It is definitely one of the best primers I've used & I loved it. There's still a lot of product that gets stuck on the bottom of the bottle & u will need to scrape it out because the pump can't get them all. So double check before you throw it away thinking there's no more. 12/07/2012
Try it but don't use every day. The bottle says use each day and night. When I first used Rev-er Upper I used it religiously, but found it too potent and had small breakouts of spots in my T-Zone. If you use a small amount on your face and neck a few times a week you will see a difference, in your skin within a few weeks, your skin really glows the texture improves, and it gives your skin a creamier texture. People comment on my 'make-up' even when I am not wearing any just Rev-er Upper and moisturiser. BM are discontinuing this amazing product, maybe it's the way people use it that puts them off. Use sparingly and listen to your skin. Please try this product and encourage BM not to discontinue. 11/07/2012
The ONLY product that works for me I have tried the new BM moisturisers but they made my skin break out like I have never experienced before - I was horrified! I was told by different counter assistants not to use this product as a moisturiser, but the instructions on the bottle say otherwise so I returned to using this as I would a moisturiser and my skin is now smooth and blemish-free. I have a sebaceous eczema and so I react to every other product I have ever used and cannot use anything oily, but this has been a godsend. I was told by an assistant at a bare minerals counter that this product was being discontinued and if this is the case, please PLEASE reconsider - if this was brought out as the moisturiser for oily skin you would have a lot of happy customers. I really cannot recommend this product enough. 06/01/2012

I know BE has primers almost specific for eyes but I´m not sure if the general ones can be also applied in the eyes or is they´re only for face avoiding the eye area.

It really depends on the sensitivity of your skin. Try a little of the product on your outer eye, almost in line with your brow. Leave it for the day and see if any reaction occurs. If not, try it round the bone of the eye before applying it directly. I only advise this as the skin around the eye is much more delicate, and it's really worth taking the time to check your skins sensitivity. I personally found that applying the Oil Control to my eye area created flaking, as the area needs hydration more than anything else.

I dont want to say do it. However, i must say i have used it all over including on the eyelids as i am lazy and touch wood i have been ok. I do have a tube of the primer just for eyes which i do get use of occassionally. But for under the eye i use this primer. I have both this and the 'normal' one. I prefer this one (brightening) as it just gives you that extra glow effect.
