Makes doing a smoky eye a breeze.
I love this kit for the brush alone. The pointy end is just perfect for lining upper and lower eyes in one easy sweep. The fatter end buffs the colour on really well and makes it so easy to blend with no mess. The colours both compliment each other really well and it's a great way to get started with smoky eyes. The tutorial is so easy to follow and you really can achieve the look you want. I've got lots of other smoky colours now but always come back to this brush because I love it so much.

worth it...
...just for the instructions! I couldn't quite get the right look when I tried to do a Smokey eye, this kit made it so easy! The colours are gorgeous and look great together. The brush makes application incredibly easy.

You can do smoky eyes with quite a few colors: there's the classic black, but also dark purple, dark grey, dark blue, dark brown, dark forest green...
With this kit you can do a great smoky look with blue-grey tones. The dark eyeshadow is mat, the lighter is great for higlighting the browbone. Both work perfectly together!
I'm not totally fond of the angled brush in this kit, though... I prefer to use a flat brush to first pat the darker eyeshadow on the lid (I have used it dry for a subtler look and wet for a little more dramatic smoky look) and then use a round-tipped blending brush to blend the harsh lines. Probably it's the shape of my eye that doesn't "go well" with the angled brush: it's too big for me and swipes away too much color. Anyhow, some of you will not have my problem. All in all it's a lovely basic kit.

Great Kit!!
I just received this kit in the mail yesterday and couldn't wait to try it! I've been longing fort that smoky eye! I have small (blue) eyes and eyelids so eye make-up is always a challenge. The price of this kit is worth it just for the brush, which is amazing! The direction are foolproof and easy. I'm not a huge fan of the Celestine color, it's a little too dark and very gold for me. I prefer cooler colors. I foiled my whole eye with Ecstasy using the brush the way instructed. Then I used Skyline as instructed. Love, love, love Skyline, beautiful color! I finished with some black eyeliner and a little pop of "Whisper" in the corner of my eyes near the nose, to open up my eyes a bit more. The finished eye was very smoky and sexy! This is a great kit, so happy I ordered it! Thanks BE for so many wonderful choices, I own a ton of BE make up, I'm totally addicted!

Good way to learn the smoky eye look
I've always wanted to get that perfect smokey eye that you see in the magazines and I thought this would be a great kit to get. I do love the brush and the instructions on how to apply. Applying it wet definetly gives it that pop factor. I just wish the colors were a bit darker perhaps.

Easy sultry smoky eye
I am in love with the colors in this kit! Celestine really is a must have, it even looks fabulous foiled! My sister bought this kit for her wedding and it looked amazing when the Beauty Ambassador showed us how to use it. At first I didn't think it would look good on me, I have blone/light brown hair and blue eyes. When I saw this on sale for $22 I figured I'd give it a try. I really like this kit, the tutorial gives you 2 different ways to wear the colors. The brush really makes this kit easy to use, I've never been good at the smoky eye but this kit is easy to use and it looked great! I'm really impressed with this kit.

Buy this kit
Love, love, love the brush! If you don’t want the eye color everyone should get the brush. Celestine is one of my must have colors (along with nude beach, a silver glimmer). It should be describe as more of a warm glimmer. Skyline not my favorite, it should be described as a grey blue. This might look better and greyer on darker skin tone, on me I look like I’ve been punched. That said, BE kits are a great way to try out their products, since often the color is very different on than in the jar.

I so wanted to love this...
I loved the other two tutorials I purchased, Intro to Eyes and Eyelining, (still waiting on Foiling Tutorial) and I really wanted to love this too.
I love the brush, it really DOES make the Smoky Eye effortless for anyone. As a part time free lance makeup artist, I have tried just about every brush on earth, and NONE make Smoky Eye easier to achieve than this one. This brush will ALWAYS be in my bag!
That being said, I didn't love the color combo in this kit. I have at least a dozen or so kits and collections from BE, some I haven't even gotten around to experimenting with yet, and this is the first time I wasn't won over after applying. I tried both methods in the instructions (I always do it the BE way first, then MY way LOL) and I wasn't impressed with how it came out. I even tried tweaking it to my preferences, and no luck. I think these colors together just don't work for ME. But I have seen it on other women and it looks fabulous.
I'm keeping the kit, mainly for the brush. Once I get around to exploring all that I have on hand I will definitely work these colors into a look later down the line, because the colors themselves are great. They just don't look great together on my face LOL.
Still worth every penny though, for newbs to experts!

A night out on the town
This is one of the first kits I ever used! I absolutely love it! It looks so good, it's great for any age. It's not too dark, you can make it bold and classy if you want. Night out on the town look or a simply elegant dinner look as well. It's amazing!
