Applying the Makeup is Easy

1. Swirl
a small amount of bareMinerals into the lid with the Flawless Application Brush (for lighter coverage) or the Full Coverage Kabuki Brush (for more coverage) until the bareMinerals are tucked into the bristles.

2. Tap
off excess. bareMinerals should not be visible on the outside of the brush.

3. Buff
bareMinerals onto the skin in a swirling, circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbones. Then, buff around your face, working your way to the cheeks, forehead, and nose. Buff until you're satisfied with the coverage. Less is more when applying bareMinerals.

Fabulous life saver! This foundation is a must if you have a darker complexion. As you wear, it "improves" becoming more like your skin without the ashy "glow". I receive complements almost every time I wear this foundation. I've tried others and always return to this staple. Its also the best foundation for wear in hot, humid southern summers! 04/05/2013

A true Bare Minerals Convert! I was very sceptical about the whole Bare Minerals experience. However, after reaching the age of 30 and continuing to have troublesome skin, I decided to give it a go! I am so glad I did! I have extreme combination skin so dry and dehydrated cheeks, but then a very oily t-zone. I did not see how a powder formula could address both these areas of concern. However, my skin has never looked better! I no longer have dry and flakey looking areas on my cheeks/forehead and hardly have to touch up during the day at all. (Before, with liquid forumals from high end reputable brands, I was always having to blot my face with powder). I am a true convert now to the Bare Minerals products and can't wait to try out more of the range! 18/04/2013

Fights my oil literally all day and its not cakey. So I was very skeptical on purchasing BE at first, but I had heard so many excellent reviews that I said why not. I went to the boutique to get shade matched, which I highly recommend especially if your makeup challenged or have uneven skin tone like myself. I purchased the matte about 2 days ago and this is the best makeup purchase that I have made. The matte isn't cakey or heavy; it is breathable, feels clean, plus it last all day. I work a 9-5 and live in southern CA so using other products like BB cream or liquid foundation seemed great, until about 3 hours after wearing I looked like someone dumped oil and shine on my face. The matte actually works with my skin to keep the shine away, but it still gives me a natural glow which Iove. Another great thing about the matte; because it's not cakey, if I scratch my face I don't find traces of makeup under my fingernails. The best part about this stuff is that after I put my makeup on in the morning, go to work, sweat, and have the sun beating down on me I come home looking as if I just put my make up on. 05/04/2013

New fave! I bought the original foundation and loved it. Then I decided to try the matte one just to see how it looked, and I love it even more! The original I felt needed to be re-applied after a while...while the matte last all day until I take it off. Perfect, I can wear it at work all day and then get off and still look good. Always an old favorite. This was actually the very first face makeup I have ever tried, I tried it as a 14 year old, and my mom was okay with me wearing it because it looks so natural. With good care of your brushes and actually using the correct brushes, and also a freshly washed and moisturized face, the foundation has always gone on perfectly for me. Sometimes I get a little tired of it when I'm looking for better coverage and switch to different liquid foundations, but I always find myself coming back to bare minerals original. I love it. I think the way to get the best coverage is again, proper preparation of your face (that goes for any makeup) and the right brush. I use the Heavenly face brush. It will always be a favorite makeup of mine, and I never break out with it. Highly recommended. 23/03/2013

Not for Oily Skin I was expecting famous results seeing this over the year, and I tried the foundation with the primer and without. Without the primer nothing was covered up and my face didn't look flawless. With the primer, it looked very cakey and fake on my face. 21/03/2013

Another amazing foundation I usually use the regular SPF 15 foundation but often switch to this either in the summer months when my skin gets a little more oily as I find it does help to mattify my skin or even in the winter when I want a little bit more coverage as I find it helps with this too. I must say, I didn't expect to see much difference between the two but I definitely can. 16/03/2013

actually annoyed i didnt buy this years ago! I have always suffered from acne and my skin is super SUPER sensitive/dry! :( I have always used another branded makeup and thought id finally try this after reading the amazing reviews just like this one... soo i went and got shade matched in debenhams Liverpool ONE. best decision ive ever made. i bought medium beige and my skin now feels like it can breathe but still covers my scarring, I feel like im now on my way to super healthy skin just after a few days my skin looks healthier as this does not dry out my skin as all my other makeups have in the past!!! I will now NEVER buy any other makeup, im set for life! Ive told all my friends and booked my mum to go and get shade matched too, unbelievably amazing product, I knew it was meant to be good, but my gosh.... you have to try it to truly appreciate the quality and coverage. I have threw out my old makeup, bare minerals you are my saviour!! Every day now feels like im treating my skin the best I can, with the super soft flawless brush it feels like a facial everyday <3 03/03/2013

Hi Pat. Not to worry, we haven’t discontinued our MATTE SPF 15 Foundation, and there are certainly no plans to do so. The reason it might be saying this in your Wish List is because we’ve had some product code updates, and you may have added a code that is old and has now been updated. Try removing this item, and re-adding with the current shades online and this should sort it out.
