What it is:
Get a luminous, sun-kissed glow all year round. This talc-free loose powder bronzer is made with just 6 natural mineral ingredients.
What it does:
Why you'll love it:
MICA. MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR (+/-): BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE (CI 77163), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), MANGANESE VIOLET (CI 77742), TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), ULTRAMARINES (CI 77007)
I love this bronzer but in it’s current packaging it’s hard when you’re “on the go 🏃🏻♀️…”
I wore Faux Tan for at least 10 years before it was retired back in 2021, so I was elated to see that bareMinerals had recently brought back this beautiful bronzer! Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, has ever looked so natural on me. I immediately bought the new version and compared it to my old faithful from 2019. While the 2026 release looks a bit warmer in the component compared to the 2019 version, I can’t see any real difference in application or swatches. If you loved the old version, I think you’ll be pleased with the new one.
I got darker since I purchased my foundation and this helped me achieve the darker shade I needed . I would give it 5 stars if it layered on top of the foundation better .
I was looking for something to give my entire face some colour without using facial tanning spray and this product is great! You can build it up gradually and you only need a very small amount of powder so this pot should last ages. I’d recommend using a very soft, large, fluffy brush to blend it out evenly :)
I haven't tried this bronzer in the loose power formula but I'm still using the Faux Tan bronzer in its pressed power form. It is the best, the most natural bronze color out there. I hope the loose power matches the one I have, which I'll be purchasing soon. By the way, I use Medium Beige in the original foundation which I've been using since it was first introduced. Although the faux tan bronzer looks very dark, any skin tone can use it. k
