My favorite go to setting powder. I have used this for many years. It feels so clean and smooth. The Original Mineral Veil gives my face a soft, matted finish, that looks great. It can be worn over makeup or alone. It takes away that terrible shiny, oily skin look. I highly recommend this product. It is the best!

I love this powder, it has such a great feel on my skin and the color is perfect. My only quibble is that I have to leave so much of it behind in the container. Even after removing the plastic cover that turns to cover the dispensing holes, there is no way to remove the clear lid, it appears to be part of the container, molded together. I end up having to throw away several days of powder (and this product is expensive) because I can't get the last bit out of the container.

However, we regret the frustration caused by the packaging design, which prevents you from fully utilizing the remaining powder towards the end of the container's lifespan.
The regular-size units are opened from the bottom, take a quarter a flip the bottom open. Deluxe-sized units cannot be opened. Please note holiday deluxe-sized units cannot be opened. We hope this tip helps you access all the remaining powder left in your units.

I had received it as a gift over a decade ago and really loved the way it took away the ruddiness and uneven tones of my very pale skin. I'm not sure if the present formula has changed or if I had the 'illuminating mineral veil' powder back then, but it seemed there was more light reflection on my skin way with the first product,
whereas the plain mineral veil does have a very matte appearance, as advertised!
I'm not complaining; I have aged and it still leaves my older complexion much improved.😊Thank you!
