    too expensive for being so watery

    I was excited to try this "Skincare Ritual" set from bare minerals after using one of their foundations with good results.

    As a set, it's complete and I like the faint scent in the serum and moisturizer. I like the heavy glass jars, but find that this type of packaging can be misleading and you'll probably run out of the contents sooner than you think!

    Here are my thoughts on each item:

    Cleanser: The cleanser is very watery. When you open the cap it literally starts coming out, unless you remember to open it upside down with the cap on top. While washing my face, I got a tiny bit in my eyes and it burned. I know you are not supposed to get things in your eyes in general, but it should not burn as much as this did.

    Serum: Again, comes out and goes on very watery, and doesn't seem to soak in. I have to wait for it to dry on the surface before putting on moisturizer.

    Moisturizer: A bit watery. It looks creamy but when you try to scoop a little out, the moisturizer slides off your finger. Has done absolutely nothing and honestly, my skin and neck look worse than when I started using it.

    Eye cream: I feel like this is the only item in this set that I've actually seen any results from. My eyes appear less puffy. The cream is still a bit watery and the slides off my finger when trying to scoop a little out. I've been shaking it before each use and using it from what sticks to the cap. I don't think you should have to shake a cream that's in a jar.

    Skin care.

    Just now trying the new skin line so I'm not sure if I like the original more or not but I really liked the original so we shall see.

    Though it does feel little taunt on my skin..

    I have been a customer for many years, I have been disappointed that the facial wash for sensitive skin has been changed. The moisturiser is still ok? But the new eye cream has no sustenance at all. I'm looking to purchase another brand.

    I like the moisturiser, it hydrates well. The eye cream is nowhere near as good at hiding fine lines as the previous eye cream.

    The facial wash is not as good as the previous one for sensitive skin. I miss that product as it helped keep my skin / spots at bay.

    Preferred the original formula

    I’ve been using Longevity products for years and I just purchased the new Longevity serum and the eye cream. I prefer the original formula to the new one … enough that I might start looking for replacements. I’ll give them a little more time but so far I’m unimpressed.
